Dolls as a conduit to the divine.

I came to doll-making later in life. Once I discovered them, I knew I had found my medium. On this page are dolls that I have made over the last ten years, from life-sized fairy tale dolls that represent archetypes of ancient figures. Or flip dolls, one of my fascinations, which are dolls that change meaning and tell different stories depending on which way is up.

Very occasionally, I will make a commissioned doll, responding to a particular need.
